Our Board

CYC is led by a 13-member Board of Directors, each contributing their skills, talents, and expertise to support CYC for up to two 3-year terms.

In addition, CYC operates with 3 key committees:

• Executive Committee: Consisting of the Board Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, Past Chair, and Executive Director; the Committee shall have the authority to oversee the management of the Organization's business and affairs, including making decisions and taking actions that are in the best interest of the Organization and consistent with the Board's policies and directives.

• Operations and Policies Committee: Provides strategic oversight and guidance on the organization's internal operations, administrative procedures, and governance policies. This committee ensures that operational practices align with the organization's mission, values, and strategic priorities and that internal policies promote efficiency, accountability, compliance, and organizational excellence. 

• Community and Programming Committee:  Support and guide the organization’s mission-driven work in youth development and community engagement. This committee provides strategic oversight of program design, evaluation, and community partnerships to ensure alignment with the organization’s mission, vision, and guiding principles. 

CYC committees meet bi-monthly, with members serving one-year terms that can be renewed annually.
